Description
The Compressor Pressure Relief Valve guards the compressor and its connected pipework on Caterpillar MD6200, MD6250 and MD6310 rotary blasthole drills. Ultramax Systems supplies it as a direct replacement for OEM part number 593-1151. The valve stays closed under normal discharge pressure and opens once pressure reaches its set point, bleeding air away so the compressor, cooler and separator do not see pressure above their rating. It closes again once the system settles, which keeps the drill running through a transient event instead of stopping it. The carbon steel body suits the vibration, heat and dust of blasthole drilling. Replace the valve whenever it weeps, fails to reseat or sits outside its test interval, and confirm the set pressure against your drill build before ordering.
