Description
Ultramax Systems supplies the CH405Y as a direct replacement within the Chicago Pneumatic 2019 range. As a Grade Y high efficiency oil removal coalescing element it strips the fine oil aerosol and water carryover a general purpose stage leaves behind, rated at 0.01 µm. In service it sits directly downstream of a Grade X stage. Air leaving this stage is clean enough for instrument work and for a carbon tower to polish. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. It is the element used in C405 housings. It is held in Australian stock and priced to work against the cost of going direct to the OEM.
