The DHE005YD covers the Domnick Hunter BA 1 range in the Ultramax Systems alternative line. It is a Grade Y high efficiency oil removal coalescing element and strips the fine oil aerosol and water carryover a general purpose stage leaves behind, rated at 0.01 µm. The element belongs directly downstream of a Grade X stage. This is the stage that decides how much oil reaches the point of use. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. AC005 housings accept this element. It is held in Australian stock and priced to work against the cost of going direct to the OEM.
