The ETH1412HC covers the Ethafilter range in the Ultramax Systems alternative line. The element is a Grade HC hopcalite element, and converts carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide across a catalytic bed. The element belongs in a breathing air train, downstream of the coalescing and carbon stages. Carbon monoxide is the one contaminant a breathing air train cannot afford to pass. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. Housings in the NEA112HC family take this element. Held in Australian stock, it is supplied at a working budget price rather than OEM list.
