The GDF3316XO covers the Gardner Denver GDE GDF IR 2424 range in the Ultramax Systems alternative line. As a Grade XO general purpose coalescing element it removes oil aerosol, water and solid particulate from the air stream, rated at 0.1 µm. In service it sits as the first coalescing stage in the train. Removing the bulk of the liquid here is what lets the downstream element do its job. It matches the original on dimensional fit and drops into the existing housing without modification. Housings in the GDF3316FD family take this element.
