Description
The IED-C is the alarm version of the IED electronic zero-loss condensate drain. A capacitive level sensor detects condensate in the collecting reservoir and the solenoid valve opens only when condensate is present, so no compressed air is lost. The IED-C adds a volt-free alarm output and a service network connection, so a blocked or failed drain can be reported to a building management system or compressor controller. It discharges up to 8 L/hr at 7 bar, is rated from 0 to 16 bar and fits a 1/2" BSP inlet on compressors, dryers, filters, separators and receivers. Operating temperature is 1.5 to 65 degrees C and the enclosure is rated IP54.
