Within the IR OLD range, the IRHC-10HC is the Ultramax Systems replacement element. As a Grade HC hopcalite element it converts carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide across a catalytic bed. In service it sits in a breathing air train, downstream of the coalescing and carbon stages. It sits where the safety case for the whole train rests. Dimensions follow the original, so it installs into the existing housing without modification. IRHC-10 housings accept this element. It is held in Australian stock and priced to work against the cost of going direct to the OEM.
