Description
The Air-Saver-LS is a motorised ball valve fitted after the air receiver to interrupt downstream compressed-air supply during unattended periods. Operation is controlled by an external switch contact, typically wired to the factory lighting circuit, so the valve closes when the site shuts down. With the line isolated, leakage at joints, fittings and tools no longer bleeds pressure overnight and the compressor does not cycle to replace lost air. The unit uses a nickel-plated brass valve body with a stainless steel ball driven by a sealed actuator, and incorporates a slow-open characteristic to prevent water hammer when the line is repressurised.
Features
- Switch-triggered nickel-plated brass ball valve
- Slow-opening valve characteristic to prevent water hammer
- Stainless steel ball, nickel-plated brass body
- Manual override available during power loss
- Internal relay opens or closes valve based on external switch state
- 115 VAC or 230 VAC supply, 50/60 Hz, IP54 / NEMA 13 enclosure
Applications
- Overnight isolation of factory compressed-air lines
- Weekend shutdown of workshop and assembly-cell air supply
- Linking compressed-air supply to a lighting or shift switch
- Sealing off air zones not currently in use
- Reducing standby compressor cycling
- Eliminating leakage loss during unattended hours
