How do I select the right compressed air filter grade for my system?

expand_more

To select the right compressed air filter grade for your system, consider the type and concentration of contaminants present in your compressed air line. Ultramax provides a graded filter system based on micron size and filtration efficiency:

Grade P – Prefilter (5 µm): Ideal for removing large particles and bulk liquids.
Grade X – General Purpose (1 µm): Suitable for general industrial applications with moderate contamination.
Grade Y – Sub Micron (0.01 µm): Used where high-efficiency filtration is needed for oil and fine particles.
Grade A – Odour/Vapour Removal: Contains activated carbon to remove vapours and odours for applications requiring clean, odour-free air.
